TOURNAMENT RULES AND POLICIES

1. Home teams will wear a light-colored jersey, which is the team listed first or left of the versus (vs.) on the playing schedule.

2. Games will be played in two thirty-five minute halves.  On Saturday, two forty-minute halves will be played.

3. Points will be awarded for division standings: 6 points (win), 3 points (tie), 0 points (loss), 1 point for every goal scored up to 3, and 1 point for a shutout.

4. Ties in overall standings will be resolved by head-to-head competition.  If teams are still tied, total goals scored vs. goals allowed will determine position.  If tie still results, a coin toss will determine standings.

5. Inclement weather:  If you can see lightning, stop play immediately and leave the field (buses or shelter under the stadium).  Play will resume within a reasonable time if conditions allow.  Rule 7-1, article 3 of the IHSA/NFHS rule book will be used in effect if the game must be suspended.
